I did like most of Ulizkaya novels, but Daniel Stein is contradictory one.

Frankly, I don't know how true the story is, but I can't judge since I only know 1 typical story of my family - everyone was killed in Ukraine, only those survived who either ran away to the army (grandpa) or went to Uzbekistan (grandma's family)...

I guess, going back to the novel, it does not matter if it was or was not based on true events. It is a very touching and strong story, that does not leave you indifferent...
